Ken Limerick-tenor, Kenny Hatton-lead, Vince Winans-bass, Paul Fernando-baritone
The members of this contemporary barbershop quartet bring over one hundred years of combined quartet experience to every audience, having helped win an International gold medal and 13 district championships while singing with other groups. Formed in late 2002, The Exchange immediately won the 2003 Cardinal District preliminary contest, and placed in the prestigious “Top Twenty” in their very first International quartet competition in Montreal. Compared with most other quartets, The Exchange makes a “manly” sound, and takes pride in performing sophisticated songs not previously adapted to the barbershop style. In addition, the quartet sets itself apart with some traditional barbershop songs, using the “reckless” performance style associated with the innovative “woodshed” quartets of the 1950’s. Like those great quartets, they can really “ring chords”, and man, can they swing it! Enjoy the “right from the heart” message The Exchange delivers for you!
